Duncan’s career to date encompasses a number of different business sectors, including insurance, shipping and distribution, as well as a number of years spent in the public sector working for the Health Service. The businesses have ranged from small owner managed businesses to a FTSE 250 plc. Duncan was the Financial Director of Omnico Plastics throughout its growth cycle, his astute management of the balance sheet maximising the free cash flow to enable the constant expansion of the business.

Being a qualified Certified Accountant with an interest in law, Duncan has developed well rounded commercial skills to complement his financial background. These have been honed in often political environments whilst managing periods of great change both in the Health Service and also in the distribution business environment. A due diligence specialist, Duncan is a veteran of many mergers and acquisitions, having gained valuable experience working with the M&A team of SIG plc, a market-leading roofing and insulation specialist.

Duncan, 40, is married with three children.
